This page will describe how you can completely remove the stuff installed when you followed the install guide or used the bootstrapper.
Removing files
First of all you obviously have to delete all files. These are:
- /etc/7dtd.conf
- /etc/bash_completion.d/7dtd
- /etc/cron.d/7dtd-backup
- /etc/init.d/7dtd.sh
- /home/sdtd/
- /usr/local/bin/7dtd.sh
- /usr/local/lib/7dtd/
- /root/Steam/ (only if you used Steam/SteamCMD only for 7dtd on this machine!)
Do not forget to make a copy of the save game if you want to keep it.
Remove user
We created a user and group sdtd, so remove it:
userdel sdtd groupdel sdtd
Packages (optional)
Some of the dependencies for the engine or the scripts might no longer be required on your system. Those might be:
- xmlstarlet
- 32 bit version of libgcc
- 32 bit version of glibc
Done
As long as you were sticking to the install guide this should be everything needed to clean your system from the 7dtd stuff.
